Laboratory Services
Helmwood Diagnostic Center offers routine laboratory services- No appointment is needed to receive services.

Outpatient Lab (Appointment Needed) -These tests must be performed at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
  • Glucose Tolerance Test (OB and Diagnostic)
  • Therapeutic Phlebotomy
  • Sweat Chloride Test
  • Lactose Tolerance Test
  • D-Xylose Test
  • Cortisol Stimulation Test

    Hardin Memorial Hospital has received the Get With The Guidelines®–Resuscitation Silver Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association. The recognition signifies that Hardin Memorial Hospital has reached an aggressive goal in using guidelines-based care to improve patient outcomes from in-hospital cardiac arrest. Hardin Memorial Hospital received Get With The Guidelines Silver Performance Award for reaching an aggressive goal of treating heart failure patients with 85% or higher compliance to core standard levels of care as outlined by the American Heart Association for 12 consecutive months.

  • HARDIN MEMORIAL HEALTH'S DAY OF SERVICE AT SPRINGHAVEN, INC

    On Friday, April 26th 2013, SpringHaven, Inc. Domestic Violence Shelter welcomed approximately 120 volunteers from Hardin Memorial Health’s (HMH) Leadership Development Institute. The management staff of HMH donated $6000 to fund the day’s projects. The day of service, coordinated by United Way of Central Kentucky, will include volunteer teams tackling building improvements and landscaping.
