Hardin Memorial Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Department is one of the most technologically advanced facilities in the state of Kentucky performing more than 130,000 imaging procedures a year. We not only service the inpatient imaging needs of our patients, but also have outpatient imaging centers located on the main hospital campus and throughout Hardin, Nelson and Meade counties.

The Pharmacy at Hardin Memorial Hospital dispenses over 1.5 million doses of drugs annually. The Pharmacy clinical service calculates doses of many medications for the medical staff. In an effort to help physicians and nurses with medication questions, Pharmacists are also stationed on inpatient nursing units. The pharmacy at Hardin Memorial Hospital is very active with quality management; especially with medication safety in order to make the hospital a safer, more effective, place to be for all of our patients.Pulmonary Services
Pulmonary Services consists of the following Departments: Respiratory Care; Pulmonary Lab; EEG; Sleep Center; and Pulmonary Rehab. The Respiratory Care Department Operates 7 days a week, 24 hours per day, under the direction of a cardiothoracic surgeon. Services include, mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, cardiopulmonary resuscitation/life support measures, chest physiotherapy as well as aerosol therapy with bronchodilator administration under the direction of a cardiothoracic surgeon. The Pulmonary Lab offers, arterial blood gas, pulmonary function tests, body plethysmography and pulmonary stress testing.Rehab and Therapy Services

Non-healing wounds can be a source of pain and disability. Hardin Memorial Hospital’s Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center cares for people with difficult wound-healing problems. Our center offers a comprehensive team approach to advanced wound healing.
The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Program is a state of the art medical treatment that is used to treat a limited but diverse group of wounds and illnesses. Patients undergoing Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment are placed in a chamber where 100% oxygen is circulated. The oxygen is pressurized to 2-3 times greater than normal.
