COMMUNITY INFORMATION

Elizabethtown is the county seat of Hardin County, and was recently named one of the safest small cities in the United States. Located just west of I-65 in central Kentucky, 40 minutes south of Louisville and two (2) hours north of Nashville. The city population is 25,000 and the county population is 98,000. In 2005 the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) commission included Fort Knox, located within Hardin County. The outcome of BRAC has positively impacted our economic growth for this area.
