It is a frustrating situation when we suffer an injury that prevents us from working in order to support to support our families. Injured workers require special attention to recover from injury as soon as possible, to minimize the detrimental effects of being away from our normal job duties. Our goal is through preventative and acute physical therapy services you can return to full duty as soon as possible and ensure, not only, that you can perform your required job duties but also perform them pain free with limited likelihood of re-injury. Our Industrial Rehab system, in consort with your employer and physician, can progress you through preventative services, acute services and advanced work specific training and testing services.
Prevention:- Post offer screening
- Ergonomic Assessment
- Wellness programming
Acute physical therapy:- Advanced Job Specific Training
- Work Conditioning (2 plus hours per day)
- Work Hardening (4 plus hours per day)
Testing - Functional Capacity Evaluation
This evaluation tests your ability to perform movement activities as they relate to your job. At the
Therapy & Sports Medicine Center we use a system developed and researched by Roy Matheson. This software system will provide a research backed and proven test result that will accurately inform your physician about your functional abilities and testing effort. This will help them determine if you are able to go back to work after a work related injury, car accident or other injury that has limited your ability to perform your required job duties. These tests take 4-8 hours and are customized to the questions your physician would like answered.
