Annual screening for breast cancer is one of the most important things women can do for themselves.
Each year, nearly 250,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and early detection and treatment offers the best chance for survival.
At Hardin Memorial Health (HMH), we recommend that women consider their health history and the advice of their provider to determine when they should be screened.
HMH is proud to offer 3D Mammography for our patients. 3D mammography technology allows the radiologist to see the breast tissue like pages in a book so very little is hidden by overlapping tissue. Click here for more about 3D Mammography.
Most importantly, if there is a cancer diagnosis, patients can receive all of the treatment close to home thanks to HMH’s Multi-Disciplinary Breast Program.
