Hardin Memorial Health (HMH) comprehensive ‘Advance’ program is dedicated to attracting, growing and retaining nurses.
HMH enjoys a low nursing turnover rate compared to the national average. This is due in part to its willingness to invest in its own nurses and staff.
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC)
Full and part-time HMH employees who want to become registered nurses (RN) can pursue a fully-funded associate degree in nursing (ADN) at ECTC. HMH pays for participants’ tuition and textbooks up front.
Western Kentucky University (WKU)
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) at HMH who want to advance their education and careers are able to work full-time while earning an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). The fully-funded program includes one day of clinical instruction per week at HMH and online classes.
HMH registered nurses can pursue their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. A McKendree University instructor teaches classes onsite at Hardin Memorial Hospital. HMH covers the cost of this program for team members as well.
