In a July 3 News-Enterprise article, Chris Stucker, RN, Director of HMH Emergency Department encouraged the community to focus on safety when it comes to fireworks this Fourth of July.
“Even small fireworks like sparklers burn at very high temperatures and can result in significant burns or easily ignite nearby clothing or items,” he said. “We encourage people to take advantage of the free community events in the area that include firework displays managed by professionals.”
