#FlashbackFriday HMH and U.S. Army conduct Blackhawk Medevac Drill

On July 12, 2019, Hardin Memorial Health (HMH) and the U.S. Army Medevac Team currently supporting U.S. Army Cadet Command at Fort Knox conducted a drill to successfully receive a patient via a U.S. Army Blackhawk. The drill gauged flight time, the U.S. Army Blackhawk landing and the HMH Emergency Department response.

Each summer, about 7,000 cadets come to Fort Knox for Advanced Camp, and another 3,000 come for the Basic Camp. HMH and Fort Knox work together to provide immediate, seamless care to any cadets in need of emergency services.
