The HMH Auxiliary $5 Jewelry Sale earlier this month featured a variety of items from clothing to bags, scarves, shorts, tank tops, capris and more. At each $5 Jewelry Sale, every item is $5 without exception and all of the proceeds go towards a good cause.
HMH Auxiliary scholarships are funded by the jewelry sale, along with Let Christmas Shine and Books are Fun sales. For the past two years the Auxiliary has raised enough money to award 15 $1,000 scholarships each year to local students who are pursuing a medical career.
The July sale ran from Wednesday, July 19 at 9 p.m. to Friday, July 21 at 2 p.m. in Auditorium 5A on the 5th floor of Hardin Memorial Hospital. The next $5 Jewelry Sale will run from 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15 to 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17.
