HMH offers free skin cancer screenings

free skin cancer screening

Hardin Memorial Health (HMH) is hosting its annual Free Skin Cancer Screening in June. HMH dermatologists Dr. Roger Allen, Dr. Chad Brown, and Dr. Jeffrey Richardson will be on hand to screen for skin cancer.

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer. Most skin cancers are caused by exposure to UV rays from the sun or man-made sources, such as tanning beds. Preventative screenings such as this one ensure that the cancer is caught early when it is easiest to be treated.

Screenings are by appointment only and patients must register here.

Screenings run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 9 at the HMH Cancer Care Center at 521 RobinBrooke Blvd. Space is limited, so please register early.
