HMHF Purchases Holiday Layettes for HMH Babies

The Hardin Memorial Health Foundation is proud to bring a little extra holiday cheer to the babies and families at the Hardin Memorial Health (HMH) BirthPlace and the region’s only Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The Foundation purchased holiday-themed layettes for all babies born from Dec. 1 – 25.

The foundation has raised more than $1 million for the NICU through grants from local charitable organizations including the WHAS Crusade for Children, Kosair Charities, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, and from the California-based Will Rogers Foundation, Brave Beginnings. Gifts from local pediatricians, individual donors, HMH employees, Clagett Dental, and Center Stage Dance Studio KY also helped fully equip the HMH Level 2 NICU.

The holidays are about family, and we hope this gesture creates a special memory for all our HMH babies (and their families) born during this special season.
