Hardin Memorial Health provides Urgent and Emergency Medicine services to the 10-county region, including major highways. These two services are designed to treat patients as quickly as possible and return them to everyday life.
Urgent Care provides prompt medical attention for non-life threatening emergencies. CareFirst Urgent Care Center offers a convenient, walk-in care for a wide range of injuries and illnesses without the long wait. HMH’s CareFirst Urgent Care Center is open 7 days a week and is a great option for many healthcare needs.
CareFirst Urgent Care Center is here to treat URGENT, non-life threatening emergencies such as:
- Fractures (X-rays are available onsite)
- Sore throats
- Ear aches
- Sciatic pain
- Sport injuries
- Asthma issues
For life-threatening emergencies such as chest pain, severe abdominal pain or shortness of breath, call 911 or go directly to the 24-hour Emergency Department at Hardin Memorial Health. HMH’s Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The emergency medicine team is made up of highly skilled nurses and physicians, many of whom have worked in major trauma centers. All HMH emergency physicians are board certified, including many with long tenure from academic centers.
