The public needs accurate and meaningful information about the COVID-19 vaccine, how the community will be able to schedule their COVID-19 vaccine at Baptist Health Hardin, and other resources that will help combat this pandemic.
The COVID-19 vaccination process will take months to execute and is dependent on vaccine allocations from the state. Baptist Health Hardin is working in partnership with the state to distribute all of the vaccine we receive as quickly as we can following the phases outlined by the Kentucky Department of Public Health and we are currently focused on:
- Phase 1A – Healthcare workers
- Phase 1B – 70 years and older population
The vaccination schedule at Baptist Health Hardin is currently full based on the number of doses allocated to us by the state. For this reason, we must stop scheduling additional vaccines until the state allocates additional doses in the future.
Baptist Health Hardin is one of many organizations working with the state to vaccinate our community, and we want to make sure that our community has the resources they need to understand how the vaccines are rolled out and the role we play. We ask for everyone’s patience and share our communities’ excitement over the vaccine and the promise it brings to end the pandemic.
We will update our vaccination status on our website as the state allocates those additional doses. Please visit hmh.net/covid-19-vaccine for all of the latest facts and resources on our region’s COVID-19 vaccinations.
