ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky., Mar. 4, 2021 – Baptist Health Hardin is expanding its Vascular Surgery service line with the addition of two experienced vascular surgeons at Baptist Health Medical Group Vascular Surgery on Woodland Drive in Elizabethtown.
Dr. Patricio Rosa who joined in September 2020 and Dr. Murtuza Habeeb who joined in March 2021 bring their highly-specific skill set to this specialty surgery that treats diseases of the veins, arteries and circulation system. Vascular surgery at Baptist Health Medical Group Vascular Surgery offers patients medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction.
“We regularly see patients who are struggling with circulation to their extremities,” said Dr. Rosa. “They come wondering if there are any solutions to their loss of circulation and chronic pain, and we are able to offer a host of options.”
Patricio Rosa, M.D. has more than 20 years of experience and is a board certified surgeon by the American Board of Vascular Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He also completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2001 as part of his 14 years of service as active duty in the US Army.
Joining Dr. Rosa is Murtuza Habeeb, M.D., a board certified surgeon by the American Board of Vascular Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Habeeb also completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at St. Louis University in 2009.
